We moved back to LA Downtown this weekend! One hectic back breaking effort - I had not realized that we collect so much! I guess we are fond of everything we have and cherish each and every lil thing! Not sure if its good or bad but definitely contributes to making everything HEAVY! :p
So after long 24 hours of packing, shifting, wrapping, bundling, moving, carrying, bending, jumping, shrieking - we got everything stuffed into our almost 3/4 size new LA downtown apartment. Now I could keep rambling about how small it is or appreciate the fact that it is in an amazingly friendly neighborhood - not scary at all - atleast it doesn't seem to be , has dedicated parking - is just 1.5 miles off the 101 lifeline, and is super affordable for the next one year of our student journey :) So Yay - plus it gives me time to rethink and re-analyze where I want to be with my stagnant career and gym routine! Grr! More on that later - but to tell ya the gist of the story - I totally love the fact that every happening thing is close to us now - we won't have to go looking for things to do over the weekends - just jump right of your apartment and there is life all around!
Oooohh and did I tell ya our apartment at the 2nd floor has a VIEW! :D We can see the top of LA Live Ritz Carlton, US Bank and a couple of other high downtown buildings! Hehe isn't that kinda cute! It's almost like - yay we are right there! And that's what I like - we strive for our goal and we keep getting near - and then we target something even better! It's been the zest of SimPunni's story! :)
Today is Monday - and I got up at 5:00 am - was out on the road at 5:30 and parked at my office in mere 45 mins! Now that's NOT BAD AT ALL! I could get used to this!
HAPPY MONDAY everyone! Yay .. to new life ... it's a "present" :)!
