Laughter!

People say I am a bubbly person! I bring smiles and have them all the time!!

But I didn't know.. the meaning of this phrase "A day without laughter is a day wasted" coz everyday was such, but now....

.........days and weeks go by and what I don;t have is LAUGHTER! My fake smile sticks to my face as it always has been there... my cheeks ache of fakeness.....

and now I know... I am wasting my days.... !!

Hope to put them to some good use soon!

OUTSOURCING actually helps America create better job profiles and sends low profile jobs to developing economies, sadly India, at lower cost or actually more appropiate costs.

The SMART thing for India ..... is it that India should look for more cheaper markets, less developed and developing economies, whom India can pay easily and instead make more profit at the cost of American outsourcing????

The only precaution we might have to take is to hide our resources then... and that is how clever people succeed! ;)

I had this frightening experience last night while drving back from USC to TO.

I am never comfortable driving close to the ramp or the wall which divide the freeways!!

At this high speed I was driving in the leftmost lane and my tries to move into the right lane were going in vane! And the deadliest try was when my hand kinda shifted the car towards the more left edge while I was checking my right blind spt. i could have easily collided in the wall and died!

But I saw myself going there right at the time when I could have got back on the lane and after a minute the wall on the left disappeared and 3 more lanes joined in making me drive in the middle lane!

God Helps! He knows when to take you back in! he is taking care of you every moment!

I know I am his favourite actor, his favorite doll. he loves to play with me, but I know he loves me and will do the best for me! :)

Apprehensive about my looks!!

I have always been conscious about my looks...... since day 1 of my life! Since whenever I know I LIVE!!

I have never tried dieting before and have always believed in the healthier ways of cutting pounds .... that is exercising and have exercised a lot! Don't deny the benefits of it....!! And I really enjoy spending my time exercising.. the only thing which bugs me is that till now, I haven't really lost any pounds... I'm stuck on my constant weight since forever... and so has my Fat content!!
I think the last resort is to cut food now!! Cut all CARBS! NO Carbohydrates!

No Breads, No rice, No Pasta, no Cereal!

Less of dairy products...!

More Protein... Whole EGGS & Dals! And I now plan to stay on this diet for months and learn new recipes for vegetarian salads! Interesting salads! ;)

MY YELLOW BUG !!

OMG...!! I can't imagine.. I did it!! I bought A YELLOW COLOR VW 2000 BUG!!!

I have hated the color yellow all my life!!!I don't have a single yellow thing in my wardrobe! Not one! And here I go buy a Yellow Bug! But its AWESOME! Cutest lil' car I have ever seen ... and I am the proud owner of it!!! Woohoo!! :) I just wanna kiss it, hug it... whenever I see it!

It's smoooth!! Love the sunroof it has!

It made me uncomforatble the first tym I sat in it! Coz.. its just so low, I could'nt see anything beyound the dashboard! I have to pump my self up using a cushion! :P

I have so many great ideas to persolize it even furthur! Wait for the updates... my bugzzz gonna get some makeup! ;)

Organizationally Savvy!

One area I know women struggle with is getting credit for what they do. Too often they flick off compliments like lint and denigrate their contribution in the process. Not wanting to brag, they can’t get up the gumption to say a simple ‘thank you’ without fear of offending someone. Say that thank you. Present your work as your work. Talk about how much you learned and how rewarding it was to get it done. How can your boss know about your contribution if you don’t tell her? No one else will.

hmmm... a few weeks into my first job... I have still been wondering if work can bring you pleasure...! Today, I got a pinch of it! My manager sent out two opportunities to take up! I replied with my interests and have butterflies hoping to get a good one for my career!

I have to trun back on somebody for support and my biggest support is my Lord!! Ohh God, help me get a good one.. I really wanna make it good! I will work my day n nite to accomplish the tasks on my shoulder!

Office Embarrassment #1

Over cautiousness is never helping!!!!!!!!!

Today I have my first one-on-one meeting with my first boss at AMGEN!! It was scheduled to be at 2:15pm in the afternoon. In the morning he sends me an update saying 10:15am to 11:00am in the meeting time. I prep up, real fast and wonder why my outlook calendar isn't showing up the meeting reminder!F*** Outlook! Nothing ever works for me properly anyways! So I rush to the restroom, fix my hair,...once...twice....smell my breath.. all good! Let's go... i reach his office building 15 minutes early....and knock on his door 2 minutes before the updated meeting time.

Knock-Knock

H2(my manager): C'mon In!

"Ohh, Les Bowman is in there, for a meeting!!"

H2: Are you next Simi?

And I nod!

H2: hmmm.. then why doesn't my Outlook say so!

Me: You sent me an update!

H2: Ohh.. that! That is for 2 weeks from now!! You are really early! Really Really early! For today, we meet at 2:15pm!

Me: Ohh.. I was just going to the main building!

H2: Well thanks for dropping by!Its always good to see you.

Me: Sorry for disturbing though!! Bye!

And I rush back to my secluded abode! Or if it really is that secluded! Bah!!

I really don't know why this happens to me!!

I know if you give your heart and soul in a relationship... .. and of any kind.....it works....

but strangely... in past few months... my experience with "Heart & Soul" haven't really shown such results!!

I get friends who are passionate and caring ... but then they get really aaggressive and over possessive.

I get friends who get jealous if I get something..... I really worked hard HARD for....

When should your ego, really do the ego??

Are they really friends or just some one's who come in your life, for a mutual gain and when they don't see any....they just move on....

Am I too sensitive?

Am I too delusive that people do not understand my feelings?
